Must Attend University Recruiting Events in 2016

As the first week of February comes to an end, university recruiters have already started returning to campuses gearing up for what looks like another busy season. Whether you’re filling some last minute job reqs or looking ahead toward the future, the job of a university recruiter is constant and neverending. These departments are generally understaffed, overworked, and leave little time for professional development.

With students out for the summer, university recruiters are able to take a step back and breathe. This is the perfect time to go network and share horror stories with other university recruiters at regional and national conferences. Since we know you’re busy we’ve done all the legwork to find the best conferences to attend this year — and why they’re so important!

July 22, 2016
Austin, TX

Cost: $249

Our list begins with a not-so-shameless plug for the URecruit Conference that Looksharp is hosting this year for the very first time. The conference is bringing together all the university recruiting professionals and influencers together for a one day conference where all we do is talk university recruiting. Speakers range from Gerry Crispin, Daniel Riskey of Southwest Airlines, to Marie Artim of Enterprise Holdings who is keynoting our conference. The kicker? This conference is only $249 at the early bird rate and you’ll receive HRCI/SHRM credit for those looking for recertification.

Check out other speakers and purchase your ticket before early bird tickets sell out.
