Stay in the Know: Receive a Digest on Your Internship Listings

At InternMatch, we’re constantly working on ways to improve how you manage your internship listings and applicants.  Today we’re expanding our notification features to give you more ways to manage how you receive applications.  In the past InternMatch sent you an email every time a student applied (which included their resume and cover letter).  Now we are providing an easy tool to let you choose between getting applications immediately or in a daily or weekly digest.  This feature update is a win for all! From the busy recruiter who needs a regular reminder about their positions to the one who has to send their HR Director a weekly activity report.

For all current and new customers, the default setting has been changed to daily notifications (so you can keep a close tab on your applications) but editing this is as easy as the three steps below.

1) Login to your InternMatch account and click My Settings from the main dashboard on the left.

MySettings2) Click Edit underneath the Application Updates section.

3) Select how often you want to receive each update. We like to receive our updates everyday (again this is what we have now set as the default), this way we don’t forget about a listing and  we can easily monitor how well each position is performing and adjust deadlines accordingly.

Finally, click Confirm to save your settings.

Pro Tip:

What if I  have five positions and want to receive weekly or daily digests for 4, but one is an immediate hire for which I want to get immediate updates?  No problem! Every role gives you the option to manually receive applications on an immediate basis.  To accomplish this login to your InternMatch account to edit your role and select Custom Recipient as the ATS on each position.

Finally, once you’ve adjusted your account settings, make sure you’re on the lookout for the digest email (be sure to check spam filters). Here’s a sample email below.
